No where else, can the private Fly fisherman socialize and compete with this many of the sport's finest talents, Stars and insiders!
Depending on your timing, it is possible that you could be fishing with TEAM USA on one side, Peter Byrne and author  Joe Butler, (www.butlerfishing.com ), on the other!  At night you'll have the time to sit down and replay the days events over food & drink with your new acquaintances.
How's that for an opportunity!

HOW IT WORKS:
2 person teams compete. Each of the team members must, individually, catch and release a fish in each river before moving to the next river... the goal being; to both catch a fish in each of  8 rivers in just TWO DAYS!!!  (more in rules section)

EXAMPLE:  You  and your teammate go pick up your team chest panels that identify you on the river and use them to log fish length and photo verification. Do this Thursday evening at the Kickoff Party, or friday morning at the designated staging area in Glenwood Springs, where you'll be told which river to start in. You  drew a start in the Crystal, so you go get the Guide report for bugs and hatch at the staging area. You jump in the River on a beautiful day, and after 5 minutes, you land a 14" Rainbow. You have the option to release and go for a larger fish, however, you're teammate hasn't caught anything and you have 3 more rivers to go. You Decide this is your fish,- you take it, in the net, to very shallow water. There, you ready your camera, then hold the  fish up against the chest panel, (which has a ruler printed on it), with it's tail on the edge of the panel,  you A)-photograph the fish (phone camera is best), & B)-mark  it's length with a marking pen. Release the fish. Once you have recorded a fish you must stop fishing that river, but may help your teammate by spotting fish. You may NOT catch another and log it for your teammate.
Five minutes later, your teammate hooks a 9" Brown. You both decide there is time enough to catch another, so you release the fish without recording it.
Thirty minutes later, your teammate brings in a 19" Brown. Get to shallows (better for dropped gear or fish), ready your camera phone, photo & mark fish length on panel.
Now you're off to the next of today's 4 Rivers,- the Frying pan. Your teammate catches, photos and records a 16" rainbow after 1 hour. An hour after that, you catch a 10" Brown and decide to record it so you can move to the next river.
You both catch, photo & record in The Colorado and Roaring fork Rivers that afternoon,... an ALL RIVER TAKE! WELL DONE! You go back to the staging area & get social. Don't play too much... you need to Plan day 2 of  the 8 River Rodeo! That night you check in to your hotel or campsite in the Almont Valley  and get ready to repeat the Adventure in 4 new rivers tomorrow!
